Finally did it, stayed at Mandalay…. Good news overall and had a great time. Loved out King Size Executive room, amazing view of the Strip and very pleased with the room itself. Came for the pool, which did not disappoint. Did enjoy the Wave , but for us the Lazy River was a BLAST!! But bring your own flotation tube to inflate there and enjoy SO MUCH. We laughed like kids for 90 minutes that flew by. And if you don’t care to or cannot afford the exorbitant charges for chairs with umbrellas/ day beds/ cabanas…. Think BANK here for fees, mind you…. Well, hear me out, two words West Lagoon to the rescue. You can find a pool chair often shaded by palm tress pool side. Loved it and FREE. Which brings me to the hidden down side of the entire stay. Mandalay is going to charge you for literally everything!!! Even a coffee made in your room that was once free little part of the ( already HIGHLY PRICED) room, morning coffee was crazy expensive so we just ran down to Starbucks. MB is crazy expensive! Loved Seabreeze, beautiful restaurant with wonderful window views and really good breakfast. As far as staff, MB should take pride in their BERNICE who helped us with chair reservations and truly made us feel at home there. And also KRISTY for massages pool side at the cabanas, she also went above and beyond to make us comfortable hospitable and all about customer service. That goes for both Bernice and Kristy; they could give classes on Hospitality.you made difference!!!

Room was clean and great location beside the beach. Room had kitchette and big fridge, microwave etc. so was great. It was dated and internet didn't work in our room but worked well in the lobby. Great value for money :) happy with it.

Property location was great, walkable food options. The bed was harder then a rock

The hotel was so lovely, they had complimentary coffee, teas, water, and hot chocolate and the rooms were beautiful. The only cons were there are no microwave in the rooms and the team seems pretty lazy but they were nice.
